five new romance book releases to get you through the bleakness of november
November is upon us, which means that DST is about to end, which means that nights are getting longer, which means that books are going to need to be read. So, here are five upcoming romance releases that I recommend you check out this month!
Before I Let Go by Kennedy Ryan (m/f - contemporary - second chance)
I was lucky to get this book as an ARC months ago, and you can read my full review here. Check your content warnings and then get ready to have your heart ripped out of your chest while you read this masterpiece by one of the best romance authors to ever exist. Enjoy!
Two Wrongs Make a Right by Chloe Liese (m/f - contemporary - enemies to lovers, opposites attract, fake dating, autism rep, high steam)
Chloe Liese + a modern retelling of Beatrice and Benedict …. be still my beating heart this is the greatest thing to happen in 2022. Jamie and Bea only agree on one thing, that they couldn’t be more wrong for each other. So, when their friends attempt to matchmake them, they decide to get revenge by obnoxiously fake dating and then spectacularly breaking up … but in doing so they start to realize that maybe they aren’t so wrong for each other after all?
Kiss Her Once For Me by Alison Cochrun (f/f - contemporary - second chance, forced prox, mental health rep)
After her life falls apart, Ellie Oliver finds herself agreeing to a marriage of convenience plot with the landlord of the coffee shop she works at, Andrew. To keep up the ruse he brings her home for Christmas where she is introduced to his sister Jack, who just so happens to be the woman Ellie fell in love with over the course of one night the Christmas Eve before. Obviously chaos ensues.
Ship Wrecked by Oliva Dade (m/f - contemporary - forced prox, mutual pining, second chance, fat rep, out of this world sexual tension, slow burn)
Seemingly two strangers, Maria and Peter have an incredible one-night stand, except it turns out they aren’t strangers, they are co-stars set to film a fantasy TV series for the next six years on a remote Irish island. For six years they maintain the professional boundary of two colleagues, until the last night of filming when their mutual restraint shatters and passion takes over.
How the Grump Saved Christmas by Claire Kingsley (m/f - contemporary - enemies to lovers, opposites attract, small town)
I don’t know that much about this book other than it’s grumpy businessman vs small town farm girl, but it’s Claire Kingsley which means two things are certain: it will be good and it will be smutty. What else can a girl ask for?
Enjoy!
